I'm inclined to say the lack of overarching story plot is why it doesn't warrant more discussion on /co/, even taking into account that most of /co/ considers it to be of poor quality.
There are definitely some shitty shows that get more discussion due to the story elements alone, even when the story is subpar
such as RWBY and Star vs. The Forces of Evil. I'm a fan of RWBY btw, but I can recognize when it's clumsily executed.The pacing definitely takes some getting used to, but I find the jokes funnier than those found in
Star vs.Also, a lot of /co/ nowadays, at least when it comes to the threads that tend to populate the board, falls victim to waifufagging. There were a lot of Vambre threads when the show just came out, but she's kind of old news now. There was another spike in threads when the southern belle ghost appeared, and then they petered out again.
