If she feels overlooked I think it would make sense for her to wear even brighter colors or more jewelry. Instead the base of her outfit is plain in cut and color with all the attention grabbing elements being embroidered afterward which is significantly more work. I think a brightly colored fabric would stand out more and wouldn't need so much embellishment. Orange or hot pink could have worked. The direction Byron Howard took here
