im in school but i always fail at math classes...I am in college and put it off my entire life because of math.
Please...I think I am mentally retarded at math but how do I defeat this fucking thing?
I want to get myself to that next level.

Should I just get khan academy and dedicate two hours a day to strict math and just hope I get a C when the time comes?

Also two hours a day, are you retarded? If you're that dumb you need about 3-5 a day pretty much every day if you don't have the fundamentals down, since you need to keep going back to old math and learn the new you do in school

Proficiency, being abstract problem solving, is for the most part governed by g, which is measured by standardized intelligence tests like the raven standard progressive matrices. If you're in the upper percentiles, try taking it one step at a time. Don't overreach, but learn the material step by step and try to understand all the things you don't fully comprehend. Just like learning a language, if you can't formulate a sentence, you can't speak it fluently, so start at your level and work upwards. If you want it, and have the capacity to learn, you can do it.

Sort of but you're thinking about it the wrong way. You don't just say "k, I'll do it for two hours a day till I'm good enough," you say "I WILL get this done at all costs." You need to eat, sleep, and breathe math. It needs to become you and you need to become it. You have to be radical if you want to really make it. This is not the kind of thing that you can just do a little bit. Take it to the extreme and I guarantee you will make it. If you lack that will, then you probably won't.

Dunno how it works in your country, but nearing exams you wanna be studying a total of almost 12 hours a day if you're aiming for a perfect score, which you should be, because if something goes wrong you don't want to have to rely on contingency plans.. you want to still get a good mark.

If normal person sleep 8 hrs per day and work 9 hrs and 7 hrs for private. Expect that you will have much less sleep and private time to catch up to them.

That will help from the point of view of an instructor is teaching you the concepts. Don’t be fooled however. You need to sit down and grind out the math problems. In the best case, work problems that have known answers you can look up. Keep grinding through solving the problem until you get to the answer, then look back at what you did to obtain that answer. Repeat for the next problem. Keep going until you refined your processes enough to the point where you can get the answer right without struggle.
