If you put a random object, say a ball, in a vacuum room where it would travel through a portal upon "hitting" the floor and get sent back to the ceiling portal 2 style, it should theoretically continue gaining velocity forever no? Where is the energy its gaining coming from? Would creating/maintaining the portal have to take up more energy, is it some fuckery with potential energy, do stable portals just fuck over entropy?
