I study CS at a ~T40 school in the US, and the quality of education here is absolutely abysmal. Most classes just give the most cursory, surface level explanation of the course material, with little to no hands-on/programming work. The people here are fucking retarded too. I knew a girl in one of my upper division CS courses that didn't know what a function was. Has it always been like this?
