I'm a math scrub. I basically know arithmetic and that's it. What is a good book that explains math concepts easily? More George Polya style like in How To Solve It. And is there a certain order? Does order even matter like do I need to know any algebra to learn calculus?

Good, then you're halfway there. I assume you've already read pic related.
I suggest you read other Serre's books. The order doesn't really matter.

Books that make you think are better. Read Euler's "Elements of Algebra" (he wrote it to teach his servant algebra) then try your hand at Gelfand's Algebra and challenge yourself to solve some of the problems.

Advanced courses no, but you need algebra -> precalculus -> calculus. Geometry is skippable.

Could I ask for some advice regarding euler's elements?
I have read through and feel that I understand the first part. However, the second part, on indeterminate analysis, hit me like a wall. Is there somewhere else I could go to get some understanding before delving into the indeterminate analysis like an autist
