Why do the highly educated, worldly, sophisticated, responsible adults who hold power in the very important mainstream media outlets have so much difficulty differentiating objective reality from self-serving lies?
All of these people had tremendous education at Ivy League schools or the equivalent and they all have resumes to match, of all the people out there, they should be the ones having the easiest time differentiating objective reality from self-serving lies because they're the smartest and best educated folks, but for some reason they just can't ever seem to do it. Is there some sort of paradox that arises when someone becomes too smart that cause them fail in this regard?
As an ordinaty average person, I guess I wouldn't know about that.
