>>10707060That's your God, but I am tasked with proving the Islamic God. The Islamic God is any necessary being. Let's do the following proof, which will contradict your unicorn in the process.
Assumption: Contingent entities exist i.e. ideas which could be conceptualized some other way for example matter in a room could be rearranged. I can set objects in a room in a certain configuration or another to my liking. Therefore the matter in an ordinary room is contingent. In particular, it is contingent on my will of arrangement.
Theorem: There exists a necessary being
Proof: If contingent beings exist we have by definition that they must depend on something else. Contingent entities like a glass cup requires the concept of glass to be what they are. Carry the process forward and we find all entities we observe are contingent. There must be one necessary being which is fundamental. Everything is contingent upon one necessary being, so there must be a necessary being for our world to exist! Therefore there exists some necessary being.
Corollary: a unicorn God can not be necessary as it could be some other way. The unicorn could have a complex number of horns for example. It relies on the concept of the standard real number unit 1 to define itself. Therefore it is contingent.
Anyways, my job is done. The Islamic definition of God is exactly a necessary being. Again is a necessary being is anything which does not depend upon anything else. The only way out of this is to deny existence itself from the assumption.
