Employers are in the race to the bottom to pay the least amount they can along with the least amounts of benefits so employees respond in kind with doing the least amount of work or effort possible.
The days of calling some computer shop or boutique guitar center and having some other autist pick up and sperge out on you for a half hour straight out of genuine passion is long gone I'm afraid.
t. used to work at radio shack part time because of autism and a genuine passion for electronics, they ended up firing me because "I was driving customers away"
