Unless you've been taking liquid calories and counting them to the tee, you can't know for sure. And that's not a *you* thing. I don't think anyone can, unless they measure the calories of the food they eat directly, since relying on what's on the packaging can vary greatly from one batch from the next.
Not only that, unless you've measured it, you can't know your energy expenditure.
The most important thing that people often miss is that if you're gaining fat, you are at a caloric surplus. BIG FUCKING PERIOD.
Yes, I know there's a whole fucking debate around the calorie-in calorie-out issue, and I've read both sides, but in the end it's fucking CICO whether you like it or not.
