Majority of them do not work. I find phenibut works but it is not worth the side effects in my opinion.

Some of them make staying awake or focusing easier. Beyond that they don’t do anything but destroy your gut and brain. Just use nicotine and caffeine, its less autistic and you’ll sort of enjoy the process.

Phenylpiracetam and L-theanine are the best ones in my experience. Phenylpiracetam tastes disgusting though, so get it in capsule form. L-theanine is good for wakefulness and thinking more clearly. Fish oil and phenibut are also good for anxiety and depression. Pramiracetam is also decent, and has good anti-anxiety effects.

Caffeine is shit from my experience. I can drink an entire large can of Red Bull and still feel tired. Maybe I just have shitty genetics. I need stronger stimulants to wake up.

Huperzine 1%, most racetams, L-tyrosine, L-theanine, Uridine mono phosphate, ALCAR, lions mane, Adderall (I don’t consider a nootropic), noopept, caffeine, etc. Most work but every brain is different. I tend to do a different stack everyday so I don’t hit tolerance. Favorite stack is a caffeine + L-theanine + plus any memory recall nootropic before an exam.

Favorite nootropic for studying is 200mcg of huperzine 1% stand alone and I’m I’m literally studying for 12 hours straight and some coffee to stay awake. (2-3 a week).

Micro-dosing nicotine is one I picked up as a study aid in med school. 0.5-1mg. Easiest way is to use 1/8 or 1/4 squares of 4mg nicotine gum. Improves focus, seems to improve memory and likelihood of addiction at such low does of nicotine is basically zero.
