Is computer science an actually good degree? I'm (hopefully) graduating from high school next spring and I love problem solving, algorithms, optimization, data structures and transistor logic. CS seems like the obvious choice, since it offers all of those and more, but I'm afraid the job market will be way too saturated by the time I get my degree. Additionally, I don't want to get stuck with people that are there just because they have "the next big app idea" or they wanna be game devs, I want to be around people that are interested in CS as a science. Should I go study CS or does some other degree seem more appropriate for me? (Love physics and mathematics as well)
