>>12802113>>12801790you are not in the field and you have no idea what you are talking about. you just read some shitty article that says muh evil scientists are making things up and you bought it immediately. that might be the case for social science but not medicine or at least the majority of it. individual cases will simply never be replicable, that's not even the point of them. go look at all the commonly used medications and treatments like beta blockers, vasodillators, insulin, tumor removal surgery, endarterectomies, hernia surgeries, etc all work nearly 100% of the time (if properly diagnosed).
the actual problem that's not only in medicine but also all science is the use of simple linear paradigms instead of complex ones. the only reason behind this is that it would make all studies impossible to read for almost everyone except those on a very high academic level and many dimwits love muh renaissance scientific method and occam's razor
