that only matters in trad, digital can go anyway because you can make adjustments anytime. you are not crippled by shitty lighting in your studio/home

you're right, but I found that going back and forth creates inconsistency over time. I generally paint large, open landscapes and it's noticeable when I pan out of whatever section I was working on.
