Phew... Where to even begin in this thread. You're all just talking past each other. In a sense, the male form is better to learn to draw from because of the more prominent musculature. That's how I started and I think it's how a lot of other people started too. If you're gay you might just straight up enjoy drawing it more, if you're not gay, you appreciate the aesthetic BECAUSE you aren't distracted by the sexual aspect of it, it's a more pure appreciation. Who doesn't appreciate He Man or Conan the Barbarian? You are supposed to look up to paragons or to put it in terms of human evolution, you SHOULD appreciate the alpha, you should admire your tribe's best warrior, want to be like him. The ancient Greeks understood this even if they didn't put it into words. If you are straight though, you can appreciate a woman's form in a way that people who aren't attracted to women never could. The soft lines and subtle curves and the distribution of muscle/fat. She is beautiful in the way that a sunrise over the mountains is beautiful, natural and eternal.
tl;dr: it's a matter of opinion, no need to debate over it.
