>>5991426i've tried a lot, and yes designdoll is currently the best, the reasons are:
Is most 3D traditional programs, name it blender, zbrush, etc, you have to build the model first, if you dont, then you have to search for one, and you have to searh for a good one, with good movility, bones, and correct motion in muscles, even if you have one, posing those things requires posing the models in unpractical ways, one by one, and correct later the whole body.
In programs like clipstudio, is the same but with a generic model that you can customize, is fine, but not really good.
In DesignDoll first to all the model is already there, then, is just literally clic and drag around, the model moves according to where you throw, so never is gonna put wrong joints, the body makes the balance to keep the weight balance, so you save a lot of time in adjust those stupid things. Later the customization is there and easy, you can copy and paste, and put more people, build cubes structures or planes to reference, and put some basic files of 3d models of objetcs, like baths, trees, chairs, etc, thats all you need and is FAST, you can even mirror the pose of the body, by the whole body or just the arm or legs pose.
If you want more then you want the program to do more work for you, like those anime hentai games with poses that are a waste of time, a decent artist just the need the structure and thats what the program gives, easy and clean and it fulfills the reason you're supposed to use this programs in the first place, which is speed.
Sure, blender or other 3d program is better for a good pre-making of lighthing and structures for example, but you need to learn, in design doll you shouldn't learn anything, and unless you're a beg, you dont need a program to speed those things that you already know, unless, and this is the only exception, you are planning to do a really complex illustration.
