Im saying its mediocre for the point you're trying to make. You should be adding a little more detail, like hatch shading on the temples. Just that can boost the quality greatly. Legit just three to four extra lines not even real shading.

It’s competent but it is looks as if you didn’t pay attention to what went well and what you could have improved because you were so preoccupied with going on to the next thing, and that’s why they are so inconsistent. This is what I don’t like about grinding. The top right ones are good yes, but I think you could have achieved the same result in ten skulls or less it you just sat and thought about what you didn’t like or did like about your previous ones for a few minutes, instead of immediately doing a new one. I always thought drawing skulls was a construction exercise but the teeth and mouth area of the skulls in what I assume to be the finished version still don’t connect to the skull properly or there is a massive inconsistency in say how the brow bone attaches. This may have also been because you straight copied skulls though.

Try to go deeper, finer. Like, buy a skull replica, and spend 10h drawing it very precisely.

Short studies are good;longer studies are also good.

Don't listen to the other anons, these are pretty good. You really should draw at least some in larger scale though, it's easier to see small mistakes in proportions, and once you do something large it's easier to downscale to small ones. Keep up the good work.

How do you construct the skull? What’s your plan? What shapes do you use for the cranium and jaw? Are you comfortable rotating those shapes in 3D space?

decent iterative practice. not bad depending on how long it took for each skull. If you think you understand the structure of the head well enough, practice actual head shapes first, then learn and practice each of the different facial features (eyes, nose, mouths, ears are the main 4.) I’d also practice shading a bit as well, it’ll help in the long run

Not terrible but you need to be drawing much bigger so you can actually get a sense for the relationships/proportions of different parts of the skull

Copying the same front angle in a chickenscratch way isnt going to teach you anything. Thing through the proportions as you draw and note things that you notice about them that will be helpful when drawing. This is what "observational study" actually is.
