I did not make top 8 on an artwork competition from one of my childhood idols, Krinkles, creator of the flash cartoon Madness Combat.

Well after seeing some context, you were definitely inspired, but it’s being slowed down by your lack of understanding of form, and I think you’re being overly reliant with the writing on the wall to convey your message. So I would suggest not letting your loss get you down as experiences like this are needed to grow.

Agree, I was hesitant over having something written on the wall, so I used that quote that I do not even like nor understand, to be honest.

Could you pin point where I lack understanding of form?

I noticed I rendered the image with the shadows of the dude sliced in half invisible. Here's the actual version.
