Once you're at the level that you want more distinct art and such, you can start buying assets or look through artists portfolios like on artstation and hire them.
Don't fret over details like polishing and rendering your unfinished work until you've made a few projects that will help you get a hang of what works and what doesn't.
You don't want to figure this stuff out when you're in the middle of a big project you've roped a bunch of freelancers into, only to get overwhelmed and abandon them and the project like a scam kickstarter.
