in all honesty, a lot of artists are emotional beings to begin with, we tend to be eccentric, its part of who we are

Could there be a correlation with side of brain activity more active than other people? Or do we feel the need to relapse these emotions at all costs and we try to do it through art?

I've always thought that if someone is more creative, they're less analytical. Like how STEM kids can't draw to save their lives but art kids are dogshit at math. imo artists are just more prone to be emotional

I feel like it's to do with conceptualizing the world for what it can / should be rather than how it actually is. This slowly grinds you down as nothing meets your expectations anymore, besides your own artwork perhaps
