Basically, you are thinking too technically and forgetting the part where your art is supposed to be entertaining.
Add more purpose to the pose (or use reference for cool static ones), avoid overlaping (like the hands) if you can make the silhouette stick out, avoid symmetry/balance in your shapes, try to think of rhythms, areas of interest.
Your art is better than mine but I have the same problem as you, seeing very simple shit that took 2 seconds and looks more soulful. If you can, try drawing unambitious pieces, with no shading and maybe not even construction. Think in 2D a bit until something captures your heart and then you can make a fancy version of it.
