I mean, I'm an art student in my junior year, so my finals (sans Japanese/Portfolio Review) are spent either drawing or reading about drawing.
It's actually worse than not drawing believe it or not, since you're mostly drawing shit you don't want to draw until you start working on your final thesis work for your BFA.
It's a nightmare. I don't want to draw anymore. I don't want to teach anymore. I just want it to end. The work I've produced for school is mediocre compared to my independent work because it has no soul or love put into it whatsoever, it's merely done to fulfill a rubric. It's sad, and my portfolio from my previous four classes is laughable because it was all done just for a grade and has no substance or hard work put in, merely phoned-in pieces done by a burnout.
