don't worry about social media or what others are doing, just keep yourself on task. you'll get tired easily if you get sucked into the flow of trends and art communities. >don't hoard resources
you won't need a resource until you know you need it. you can put off looking for things until then. >study form extensively
once you understand form you will have an easier time dealing with everything else. it's not super necessary though professionally, color theory and design skills are more important. >focus on having fun drawing
as long as you try to have fun drawing things, you will naturally experience opportunities to grow both as an artist and as a person. >surround yourself with happy people
don't focus on trying to make "art friends," just try to make good ones and keep those people in your life.
