Yet I'm failing, Keys to drawing, dynamic sketching, loomis, vilppu drawing manual, eviston, drawabox, im doing all of those and for three months ive seen little improvement
im not even having fun anymore, doing loomis heads is not fun and even if theyre bad i love drawing like yuasa right now, making up characters on strange poses, thats fun

this was my first "serious" drawing 3 months ago, lots of mistakes and i noticed them all back them

I have, they are very complex
every line is just in the right place, not to mention the values, years of experience on them
you get one detail wrong and it turns lifeless

This is the latest drawing I did
the only thing that has changed is that I became aware that you can start with soft lines

Days ago I got so mad I just started drawing for fun, stylized and it was shitty but it was the first drawing in 3 months that went to the art folder instead of the practice one

if you're this dedicated you're clearly gained something. don't ever think you didn't
DAB can easily be done in a month and it teaches you all the stuff that self taught artists normally get skipped on

I think you have the same problem I had when I tried to draw "worse". I thought I had to draw fast and loose, but actually my boy, you need to slow down.

You need to draw real slow. Seriously. It looks like the art you posted is "crappy", but in reality, the artist was very deliberate with every line he put on paper. Studying anatomy and proportion does help though.

your technique is good
maybe you want to learn new techniques, maybe you want to implement this tech in different ways, maybe you want to go the next step beyond penciling and start inking or coloring

either way you will only know what to do by making your own choice
