>>4733680Actually no clue, that might be the job of a neuroscientist to answer or something, but I can share some of my intuitions:
1 The soles is where the squishy part is, and we all like soft body parts like the breasts, buttchecks or thighs
2 When you imagine yourself sniffing a foot you do it from below, so you associate that pleasant smell with the bottom part of the feet
3 Some persons don't like the more veiny/tendinous part of the anterior side. I used to be like that at least, now it also turns me on too
