Work Ethic

Reading about artists from the Golden and Silver Ages of Comics, I'm inspired by their blue collar ethic.
These guys weren't precious about their art, they saw comics as a job where they punched in and punched out, often for shitty pay (and worked a lot of overtime).
Even in learning, I find it's good to take this proletariat approach to art. Some days will be good, some days will be shitty, but like any job, showing up is important.
It's about discipline, you'll get it the more you work. This is what 'grinding' is all about. Art can be fun, but if you want to be an artist, it's also YOUR JOB.
