PS and Illustrator are good for what they are. Using PS for illustration in the >current year over almost anything else is dumb, but whatever, some people just can't be bothered to learn new things. As an image editing program it's still probably the best.
After Effects is a quite unique software with no real alternatives, but it's a fucking mess of unoptimized spaghetti code with retarded UI/workflow, working in it is miserable, but as a I said, no alternatives for what and how it does.
Premiere is also an unoptimized shite. Does its job, but there's not many serious reasons to use it over other video editors.
Haven't used anything else by Adobe besides Media Encoder, but from what I hear it ranges from "just barely okay" to "useless trash".
