>>4606617Just smells like COPE to me.
I smile because there is nothing to "complain" about.
It's like tattle-tales that scream "BUT MISS TEACHER!!! SAKIMI-CHAN IS CHEATIIIINGGG" when cheating is allowed. Otherwise people would be making a fuss about painting digitally still
I am not sakimi-chan, I don't really find the work good, in fact, I don't really know what to think of it, but someone was angry enough to make a thread about it and even better, there are people chimping in.
pyw since you're comparing yourself to her/him.
Churning out art at such a pace comes at a cost (one that I don't want to make) but it is her choice) but I do sometimes also feel like just cheating things I keep having to remake, but instead of using 3d models or a repeatable background, I try to make my art presentable at all stages, or at least, work towards it so that I can. It's why I like the Thumbnails > Sketch > Paint workflow, 3d models would speed it up but sketching an idea down is faster than 3d modelling and at any time during the painting process I want to be able to call it finished (to a certain extent) for a client.
I do want to dabble into 3d a bit for landscapes though by blocking it out/landmarks and being able to very easily change the perspective/composition and playing around for fun with it instead of the sometimes hard to place/adjust street scenes
>>4606619>>4606566Wouldn't be surprised if she did but I feel like it's mostly just rendering the lighting that sells the pictures in these cases. the fat bulging from tight clothes is going mainstream. I'd say it's not a 3d model simply because the shoe on the left foot looks really off, but it's hidden in the noise of the background. (the heel disappearing into the vertical shapes/tangents of the background).
I wonder if this was done intentionally to hide mistakes?
