You have the right edges in the right places, the problem is that you're lazy and your hard edges are blurred, look at that mess between the forearm and his shir, or his hand and the gun.
It's not a mistake, it's a sloppy job.
Just out of curiosity did you try and clean the work up with a denoise filter?
Also if feel like you took his skin shadows into extreme reds and purples without the rest of the picture following. The shirt and the gun are colored fairly sober, the highlights on his face are normal skin tone but the shadow is fucking purple and blue.
Go all the way with it, take the highlight to green then across the entire picture to make it entirely crazy, when everything is crazy nothing is.
