But strangely enough though, a lot of Yuros ( even those who may or may not be anglo centric) seem to be able to shakeoff such an influence somehow when it comes to furry styles. There's a weird nuance going on whenever I see furry art that comes from there. You might see /trash quality showing up here and there in places if you're unlucky enough, but there is still a thing going on with a lot of them where they somehow have an identity of their own that don't rely on Disney as their crutch.

Makes me wonder if there are furry influences in Europe that date before Disney? Maybe they simply just liked animals and thought it would be cool to anthropomorphize them? I know people like to say the US started it with cons and shit, but I wonder if aristocrats engaged in that kind of thing first before they did?
