How much RAM do you let Photoshop use? Is the 75-80% rule a meme? Is there a dangerous amount?

Because I use pirated PS I can't get pass 4 GB, it sucks since my laptop has 16

I run Clip Studio Paint and Krita at 70 and 50%, respectively. Why then do they feel more responsive than Photoshop running the same or more? Just curious.

If you're not running a portable version of photoshop, meaning you had to install it into the programs folder,

>32 bit

It will be in the "/Program Files (x86)/" folder

>64 bit

It will be in the "/Program Files/" folder
