So I've been thinking about starting to post my art on twitter and/or newgrounds (mostly bondage/DiD stuff) but every time I actually sit down and try to do it I cockblock myself with thoughts like "I'm not good enough yet" or "my stuff isn't that interesting". I'd like to start posting my art b/c I want to have some pressure to draw more but I'm also worried that the pressure might feel paralyzing. Any advice on overcoming these feelings, or should I just practice more until I feel more satisfied w/ my art?

I'm attaching a delivery I drew a few days ago for /v/ to give an idea of my skill level. I wouldn't say I'm a beginner but I also wouldn't say I'm even intermediate yet.

My old high school art teacher's habit of calling it that rubbed off on me.

The point is, anon needs to begin overhauling his/her fundamentals, starting with perspective. Head on to the artbooks section and download the beginner's books. Start with Perspective Made Easy and do all the exercises, then go through the rest. To mess up a basic frontal shot like this speaks volumes. Then afterwards, maybe anon will pull off the actual Dutch angle.

I'll admit I do have trouble making loose looking clothes. I actually didn't think the sweater ended up that bad so it kinda hurts to hear, but I agree I didn't put much effort in the skirt.

As for the wings, I kind of did want them to be a bit wild-looking, instead of uniform rows, if that makes sense. I wanted them to be disheveled, but it probably didn't come out the way I intended. Maybe when it comes to coloring I'll scrap the linework layer entire and kind of just make them blend into each other. I'm not sure yet.

The folds aren't *awful.*

All you got to do is fix the folds around her tits. The ones underneath should extend farther down, and there should be horizontal ones across the front. See photo.

Also the skirt should have the most folds at the hem. That's where there's the most loose fabric. As it is, having more lines around the knees makes it seem like the skirt balloons at mid length and then shrinks down at the hem, like this shape: ()

Back with a trial color scheme. Putting it out there to get opinions before I do any shading.

What colors are working? Which should I change?

Personally I like the way the wings and leggings/arms look, but I hate the corset. I'm just not sure what colors I should use on the corset instead. Guess I should study more color theory.

I've see a lot of people that do the same, so they just upload works with that kind of "unfinished" feel, like your picture, and is for gain more watchers. In the end doesn't matter if people watch you anyway. Then they do more "finished" or polished works to show "what they can do" and put those for reference to commissions, so the customers can have one of those finished works.
Some of hem even commission with they sketchy works. If they look good and people like them there is no problem.

this is fine, i'd say you could polish it a bit more so to speak and make the lines and brush strokes a bit less messy. generally speaking i see more "crisp" porn art than i do messy art styles, the latter feel more suited to experienced artists that already know how to convey what they want with less work. take what i say with a grain of salt though
also can i ask what style are you going for exactly in terms of furry stuff? i can't quite get if this is more kemono oriented or western. a few elements of both it seems

I was writing shader code for my game and I realised that if the specular reflection is the color of the surface, it looks metallic. Shade the specular highlights (white reflections from lights) in the white color (or light color) instead of a lighter skin tone.

for the heads i just changed loomis a bit to make a generic appealing face, i really like felicia's big hands/paws so i'm going for a similar effect. also you can't see it here but the feet are something between human and furry. i don't know if it's kemono or western
the only reason i don't try to add a final lineart is because i can't do it; tracing the sketch makes it look mechanical cause i can't make strokes with the same freedom, my intention is solely to trace over a superior line i've already placed. i'm going to try to practice but every time i sit down to do it i find some excuse to do something else
