>>3608152We are kindred spirits, OP. I feel a lot of the same way, but I figured out with some time to reflect that the reason I felt like that was that I was unhappy with each of the attempts. I would get disheartened and after X amount of failures. And, its easier to say that the subject is boring sooner than admit your own flaws.
Don't give in. Take a step back from learning any sort of anatomy, and focus on gesture and how to create flow first. Once you do this, all of your work will improve since you will unconsciously start putting appealing shapes into your work. Then grind your anatomy. if you learn how to create flow before anatomy, your art will still keep its inherent appeal while you go through the stages of making your work more and more accurate to life.
