Ironically, having IDs would fix all this.
Just from looking at the getgo, you can see IDs get suggested multiple times by various posters, and the moment the poll went up, YES was in the lead pretty much all the way through.
In addition, from a rational standpoint, I've yet to hear a valid argument against having IDs. Just from looking at the thread, most of the NO camp seemed to speculate and shitpost, while many reasonably arguments were put forth by the YES camp.
It was only when that tripfaggot brought up the poll (which he shouldn't have), that the NO camp started to derail the thread and question not only the validity of the poll, but also the metathread as well.
If you look at all the evidence, the YES camp seems to be the correct choice, regardless of the final poll results.
