>>5435895>>5436668>>5444212Hang on, can someone explain this to me? I don't and have never had an insta, but I've been thinking of starting one. What's the deal, does it notify people if I create an account? Does it just make me show up in a "people you may know" sort of thing like facebook?
Opposite to anon, I was actually interested in making a private account to share stuff with friends and family, hoping to keep things somewhat limited to people I'm comfortable with, but if essentially all my fb friends are gonna see it anyway then I'd at least want a heads up.
Also like... I have a LOT of tradesmen, businesses, colleagues etc in my phone contacts, so if it uses phone contacts that's kinda fucked lol.
As far as twitter goes for
>>5435895's original question, I've had a few anon twitter accounts before where I used burner emails not connected to any of my other information and it was fine (protip, if you make a new gmail account and say you're under 13, it won't ask for a phone number. You can age yourself back up as soon as the account's created and it won't ask again. At least, that worked back when I did it).
