While I have some definite issues with Slott's run, but I do admire how he uses Osborn as the big-bad for Peter. If anything, Slott has probably written some of the more intriguing portrayals of Osborn that I've seen.

Osborn is Director of the Thunderbolts and tries to present himself as such. Still batshit and has the costume on hand.
>2. Goblin King
Osborn decides to build an army of goblin lackeys and try to take over the city. Intriguing to see Ock fail against him.
>3. "Sane" Osborn
This is an Osborn that isn't held back by madness, and because of that he demonstrated he's more than capable of killing Peter.
>4. Red Goblin
Osborn is back to full crazy, has access to his goblin powers and equipment, and now 10x more sadistic with the Carnage symbiote inside him. Also he's as close to immortal as he's gonna get.

If anyone would be kind enough to post a reading order for the Millarverse it would be greatly appreciated. I think I have all the titles, but I don't know how they intertwine. From my understanding, there are at least two universes present with one taking place after Wanted and the other with Jupiter's Circle progressing to Jupiter's Legacy.

I was actually going to start with Brand New Day and continue to current. I have all the issues up till Slott and they more/less follow the chronological order. It wasn't till Slott that we started getting tons of crossovers. ANd I recognize that Slott is hot garbage in many many areas, but his plots are still on the whole interesting. I'm mostly posting for the wild ride and batshit insanity than storytelling. That's what the other storytimes are for. And I agree with Bendis Spider-Man. Fuck the haters, that was my jam growing up. 11 Year old me was fucking floored

Would love some actual issue numbers.

I have Volumes 1-3 which from my understanding is the whole shabang (or at least the main line). I haven't read this one in a very very long while and one of my friends said it's god tier. Very interested and writer/artists are some of my favorite creators.

I know a lot of people like to shit on Hickman (especially for his later Marvel work), but when I ask about his indie stuff they never have anything to say. Not all of it is great mind you, but effective in displaying that there is more to the man than Doom wanking and world-building. Dude can write character when he wants to. Also just realized that I should add Ultimate Comics: Ultimates to his marvel run. I'd say add it before New Avengers Vol. 1

Trying to keep it to mostly the same author unless it is directly part of a storyline (like a crossover). In the future, I'm willing to consider larger continuous stories, but for now I wanna keep it small and contained for the most part (or as much as I can).

Mark Waid recently has been kind of a mess, but I enjoyed this series. Very flawed in some aspects, but it says what it needs to say and gets out without drawing things out and out. It could probably be 5-6 isssues shorter but all in all a solid read

Indeed. I kinda had a breakdown a couple months ago and needed to take a break from life, but now I'm at a much better please and am now rockin two jobs. First, I'm still teaching and while I love these new kids, some of them are duuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmbbbbbbbbb. Also working at a different college in the department that does all the evaluations for the professors at the end of the year and that's super chill.

I just realized I had Hellblzer 1-300. I don't have any of the specials so they shouldn't be hard to come by. That would be a journey if anyone's interested. That would definitely be the most daunting thing I've done but still possible.

They made a series of comics after the end of both shows that are technically canon. It's not all great, but there are some gems in there and for fans of the show it's interesting to see how the story continued on.

Just don't do batman. Storytimes are best when the either generate interesting discussion (recent Snyder and Morrison batman has been done to death around here) or they introduce/reintroduce the board to something more obscure.

For common material, one idea is to storytime the annotated version of watchmen, people find the notes interesting and it will generate different discussion. Also I don't think we've had a fables storytime in a while. Or a Warren Ellis' superhero oeuvre (extremis, nextwave, ruins, planetary, authority, etc).

For slightly less mainstream, I like your madman storytime idea. Maybe also do some stuff like moebius, last man, moore's top ten, or The Marquis series by Guy Davis.
