i dont have a source for calling out the crewniverse but heres the thing. You have a "hit" show and you hold back episodes, for bombs. But what they hold back is what theyve been given.
if Sugar and co. made 20 episodes, and CN had all the episodes ready to air but decide to do 5 bombs of 4 episodes then those 5 bombs would happen very closely to one another.
now look at whats happening now, 4 episodes, to wait a month for 2 episodes. If there was enough stored content, CN could easily air 4 episodes and then 3 more 2 weeks later instead of the next month.
i dont buy for a moment that CN has 2 seasons worth of shows it hasnt released yet because it wants to have them drip out. ridiculous.
