What's a comic where the protagonist is a bad person who is struggling to be good?

Iron Man, if you actually read between the lines. See, Stark's whole thing is that ultimately he IS rotten, but he tries his damnest to be good. Thing is, he doesn't always make it. He's not a hero, not by a longshot. He's an anti-hero at best, and an anti-villain at certain times. I don't think he's petty like Doom or Luthor, but he has a "beast" within him; ego, greed, lust, a desire to connect but an inabillity to trust. All of these create something dark in him, but he fights against it.

As I have not read the run I cannot know if it is edgy for sure. It all depends on if their is appropriate build up to this moment. Which is why I am asking for clarification.

If Moon Knight does this stuff all the time it is no longer the struggle between good and evil I am interested in. Moon Knight is just a villain protagonist. Which is interesting on its own but a different thing than the one I am looking for.

I am not saying edgy comics are all necessarily bad. They are just not what this thread is looking for.

Johann worked as a medium and kept bringing this one dude back by saying his dead wife had further things to tell him and stuff like that, because Johann wanted to flirt with the dead wife and needed the husband for her to show up. That's definitely a bad person, of the non-edgy variety.

Tony is honestly one of those guys that is really fucking hard to decipher. One day he could be all Pro-Surveilance, the other day condemn it, and come up with sound and in-character arguments for both. He works as both a Templar and Assassin. As Jedi and Sith. As a Freedom Fighter and as a Tyrant. And that in my opinion, makes him a thoroughly versalite and complex character.

Everybody in this thread is saying I am overly picky. I don't think I made myself clear. But even questioning some of these suggestions does not mean I am totally against them. I might investigate Moon Knight or some of the other suggestions. It's just that I see some warning signs that suggest some of these comic books might not be good. Don't think of it as an insult but as an opportunity to explain why you like these comics.

What does a character have to be like to be considered bad, and what do they have to be doing to make it seem like they're trying to be Good?
Are you looking for a story where goodness or badness are inherent at birth?
Because I was under the impression that if you do good, you are good.
Or are we talking about like an anti-hero who does bad things to achieve an ultimately good end-product?

Yeah Hellblazer is probably what you're looking for. It still has a lot of comedic elements but John Conatantine fits that description pretty well.
