People feel that Jean was holding Scott back from having always been that man, and a lot have bought into the revisionist history about Scott and Jean having always been the way Morrison wrote it, as an unhealthy relationship between two people who didn't really love each other anymore, and lies about Jean cheating on Scott with Logan all the time they were married.
There's also a couple of really old anons who just never got over Jean coming back in the 1980s, Scott and Madelyne breaking up, and Marvel not giving Claremont 100% creative control of the X-Men characters for life, and are still seething.
