Ultimatum in turn actually ruined something while Injustice started out "ruined" to begin with and people had low expectations.
Additionally, there's a vast writing quality difference between Injustice and Ultimatum. No matter how dumb Injustice got they didn't reach the consistent number of stupid things within Ultimatum, or maybe in Injustice it was more spread out.
