At least with people like Erica Henderson, you can say she's had a comic interest and did work online prior to getting hired. You can say things like, "Coco was in development for a long time, it has nothing to do with current climate". You can say the current trend of girl protagonists in cartoons is just coincidental and not some agenda pushing. You can make a lot of, "Oh come on" refutes for /co/ stuff if someone tries to argue that Sugar only so far because she's a woman or something.
But Gabby? Gabby had nothing. She is nothing but bitching on the lack of diversity and praises HERSELF for bringing upon diversity in Marvel. And her comic tanked appropriately further showing, "Why the fuck did she get hired?".
