Thief and the Cobbler at least had some impressive sequences to it and was ambitious, as opposed to Cans Without Labels' "hey, look how wacky this is" shtick.

It does suck that he lost the film that was meant to be his magnum opus but even after watching the recobbled cuts it's still a huge mess. Character designs are overly elaborate and clash with eachother constantly. The final scene while technically impressive is just a massive visual clusterfuck. Williams is an amazing animator but he really needs someone to tell him to stop. Most of the film was just made up as he was going along and it shows, there's almost no cohesion
