And none of these places, schools, shelters, or libraries turn away people whose parents are homeless.

The resources available to anyone, especially the impoverished or underrepresented groups through private charity/scholarship/grants is extraordinary.
I'm not saying becoming Bill Gates is handed on a silver platter to.. anyone really, but becoming middle-class is incredibly attainable to anyone willing to make good decisions and put in effort.
