>>98896797>>98897123That is a pretty interesting detail, there is also the fact that how Coyote removes memories is pretty similar to his "Soul Extraction", and if one goes with that idea then Ysengrin might actually get more powerful then Coyote depending on how shit works (Like if the soul/memory energy slowly "heal" after each removal and his recovery of the removed parts means he got a huge surplus now or something like that.), Coyote might been intending for Ysengrin to become something more powerful then himself, so there is more danger then just the fact that he is insane.
Not to mention that Ysengrin was a God to start and he has basically spent the whole comic since it is clear the damage from the Treearmor (Relatively "recent" since the court was shocked at it so he didn't have it when Surma was active) utterly eclipses whatever power he had comparing to how Red Guy went to his death on his command to him getting utterly mocked and beaten when trying to introduce Annie to the "Deep Forest".
We have only seen Ysengrin at his weakest and most pathetic state so far, but now we might finally see his "real" power and then some with his only handicap being his sanity.
>>98897237>Gunnerkrigg's main character never had an ex boyfriend cause nobody romantically loves Annie.Well, there are some things that suggest that Ysengrin might been developing SOMETHING for her but who knows how the fuck.
He DID already regret attacking her even before Coyote removed his memory of that so remembering that she called the Great Secret "a funny little theory" won't necessarily retrigger him, especially since she said that to dismiss it due disagreeing with it.
