I'm surprised this thread is still here. That's strange. Might as well talk about Rugrats I guess.
>>98805060I remember when this was first coming out. I was extremely skeptical from the very start, and I managed to make it through one episode before I cemented my negative opinion on it. To this day I marvel at how many people actually considered it a decent successor to the original, which was carried by its premise. In a sort of more basic Look Who's Talking kind of way. All Grown Up was just uninspired junk by comparison. It exists purely to milk the Rugrats name.
I guess things could have been worse. The original cartoon had gone downhill fast since the movie and the introduction of a bunch of shitty new characters. Who knows how far that could have gone if they didn't switch gears to this.
