>>98630192And he's being given more of a spotlight than usual because his videos transcended garbage.
He had two roads here. He could have cooled it a little, made a few videos that may be a bit cleaner than usual and maybe getting a bit more positive publicity. Maybe more viewers, something to bounce off of, keep his "boss" at Youtube happy.
Or he could shock dead rats with a tazer to temporarily demonetize himself and keep that sweet, sweet ire on him and his boss.
>Pretending to be outraged over rats because you're upset with a previous video is just dishonestLogan Paul videos don't exist in individual vacuums anymore. You can't watch a video from him within a month's time and not think "this is the guy who also made that video everyone freaked out over". Every video after that video for a few months (maybe years) is going to have that stigma, and it was Paul's job to divert that attention.
Acting like the majority of people outraged by it were "merely pretending" is disingenuous. It is perfectly acceptable to look at his videos a month after that controversy and think that what he did is a bit disgusting even if your only exposure to him prior was that suicide video.
Even if you personally think that dead rats being shocked is harmless, that's still a dead rat being shocked to a bunch of kids who don't have filters or context, mostly to the surprise of the parents. It's the same situation as the dead body in Japan, though a much less severe situation. Unless you're PETA.
