every once in a while you get an /a/ guy come and preach the advantages of manga over comics but what are the advantages of comics over manga?

two that i can name are:
non-japanese have a hard time getting work in manga but everyone else can get a job in comic no matter the country of origin.
derailed or characters that didn't get a good start have a chance to be better or get on track again.

what other advantages can you think of?
