You just gave me a great idea, an X-Com style game except with the Suicide Squad.
Pick your DC villains(limited to Earth bound humans so you don't get OP), make your team, keep them happy, terminate them if they try to resist, train them up, get them stronger and they all have a countdown until they're freed so when they're really powerful they'll probably go free soon and you're more inclined to sacrifice/risk them but if they survive your betrayal then they'll turn evil again and try to take you and your organisation down by joining the bad guys.

Could use some work but I'll take it over to /v/ next time I'm bored.

Well this is the same style they've used for almost all their movies starting at Justice League War. The style is usually very meh and not all that visually appealing in the slightest, everyone was hoping they were gonna change studios by now but it doesn't look like it. Alot of character designs look the same, people can't have more than one body-type, the list goes on with the problems.

That still doesn't change the fact that still don't really reveal with the actual animation will look like.

Also, this movie and most of the others share the same continuity with Justice League War. Of course they're going to share the same style.

My only issue is that now Bourassa's work on Young Justice won't stand out as much.

DC has also never read a Suicide Squad comic which is why it's been so bad (minus Seeley's arc) since new 52.

In rebirth it's been like 30 issues and I don't think any of the Snyergy Squad has died yet.

I'm gonna miss fat Waller. Her weight gave her a distinctive trait that was neither superhero nor supervillain, it was unique but she really did ultimately just feel like a government worker. Maybe it worked as a metaphor for bloated government, too, with it overreaching into matters it didn't need to take part in. This Waller just seems... unremarkable.

Ryan's New Suicide Squad was promising. It built up an arc with Vic Sage and Waller, had based Black Manta and actually made Harley interesting.

But it got fucked by events and the above lineup got shafted, so it never went anywhere. Seeley's run is boring as fuck too.
