I don't get why marvel wants her chubby. She's effectively a female spider-man, or kain. She would be thin and lithe just because of her climbing and flexibility. A fat person doesn't convey this at all.

actually I was thinking he's fairly competent by Street Level villain standards, it's just he's more about getting attention and getting away with his crimes than necessarily succeeding in them(his rats bring him enough loose change and bills that he doesn't really need to do it for money), and he's got a distaste for unnecessary violence, he's also self-aware enough to know that switching sides to become a hero is an option, but for the moment he's fine with being a small fish in a big pond that is being an NYC crook

her being a mutant or not has nothing to do with that*, it has to do with who she's associated with, despite being a mutant for most of her existence she's had almost no connection or interaction with anyone X-Men related before getting her ongoing outside of encountering Deadpool a couple times and some very minor interactions a couple other times, indeed since she debuted in an Iron Man comic she probably would fall under his subsection of Marvel for licensing purposes more than anything else, so really they've always been able to use her for TV, Movie, or Video Game, purposes, they just wouldn't be able to call her a Mutant onscreen, much like with Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver in the MCU(or indeed a direct example is how she remained in Marvel Heroes even after the X-Men and Fantastic Four got removed)

*like how Franklin Richards is part of the Fantastic Four set despite being a Mutant, or Namor being his own license despite also being a Mutant

A peak human wouldn't look anything like Black Panther. He's still fairly lean in most depictions, but most of the muscle is for show. He wouldn't quite have a beer gut but there would be a layer of fat over the muscle.

Honestly that looks pretty close. Definite muscle all over but also a layer of fat over the stomach. The other good places to collect fat are the thighs and butt, but everywhere should be mostly toned. People like strongmen might be peak strength and endurance, but not speed. I like this. Very Archer. He's not actually villainous, but he keeps accidentally doing villainous things and sometimes heroic things. He mostly enjoys getting the attention that comes from these, and he almost never gets caught or charged. Kinda like the Hulk.

Between the shadows, the clothing, and the body outline, the original couldn't seem to decide on what shape her body was. So yes, redoing the tits was part of improving the art.
