While Rita is without a doubt one of the most attractive characters on TLH and one of the best modern cartoon MILFs, the show doesn't exactly give her much to do. Yeah, the parents get starring roles in various episodes every now and then, but when that happens, the two of them mainly work as story elements to affect the kids' lives (think "Health Kicked" and "Future Tense").
Lynn, Sr.'s gotten his own episodes 'cause the writers allow him to actually have character: >loves to cook >plays the cowbell >has an affinity for British accents and culture >cracks corny jokes almost as much as Luan
But what does Rita have to help define her beyond just being a sexy, fertile mom? Her old crossing guard job? Her current job as a dental assistant? That novel she's working on? The fact that she's Pop Pop's daughter? Please...
Her brief scenes in "Anti-Social" made me realize that I just really want the writers to give her some actual character traits and a more interesting personality! That way, she'd finally catch /co/'s attention and get 10x as much art.
